The Press Support and Development Fund (FADP) reports that media participation remains low in its aid application campaign. Opened on July 29, 2026, the process is due to close on September 15, 2026.

According to the update released by the Management Board as of August 31, some media categories had already begun their applications. However, no applications had been registered at that point from television and print media outlets.

Applications concentrated in a few categories

The FADP recorded 96 applications from community radio stations. Nine online news outlets and two commercial radio stations had also submitted their applications by that date.

This level of participation contrasts with the absence of applications reported from television companies and print press titles. More broadly, the Management Board notes a limited number of applications across several media categories as the deadline approaches.

Platform remains accessible

The Management Board is calling on the media companies and outlets concerned to speed up the preparation of their applications in order to access the State support mechanisms provided for by the fund.

Applications can still be submitted via the submission platform. Physical submissions are also possible until September 15, 2026. The FADP states that technical support is available to help media outlets prepare and finalise their applications.
