Contacted by Dakaractu, Serigne Fallou Mbacké Aby, presented as a family member and close associate of Serigne Sidy Abdou Lahad Mbacké, said that investigations had been launched by the relevant services. He mentioned the possibility of arrests in Senegal.
He also said the steps could concern individuals outside Senegalese territory, referring to a possible international procedure. These prospects are based on his statements; no judicial decision or arrest is reported in the available information.
