Nationals of three countries

Those concerned are between 22 and 50 years old. The group includes ten Malian nationals, two Senegalese and two Guineans, according to information provided by Gambian police.

An ongoing investigation

Authorities have opened an investigation to establish the exact circumstances of this suspected attempt. Following police checks, the 14 people are to be transferred to Gambian immigration services, which will continue the proceedings.
