Several appointments in the Youth, Culture and Education ministries

President Bassirou Diomaye Faye has made several appointments within the public administration through a decree reported by SeneNews. The decisions concern the Ministries of Youth and Sports, Culture, Crafts and Tourism, and National Education.
Two positions filled at Youth and Sports
Marième Kane Diallo has been appointed Director of Human Resources and Training at the Ministry of Youth and Sports. A sociologist specialising in organisations and work, she takes up a position that had been vacant.
In the same ministry, Marième Dieng has been appointed Director for the Promotion of Entrepreneurship and Partnerships. Presented as an expert in entrepreneurship and employability, she too has been appointed to a vacant position.
Changes in the culture and tourism sector
At the Ministry of Culture, Crafts and Tourism, Ibrahima Sory Sarr becomes Director of General Administration and Equipment. A planner, he succeeds the previous holder of the post.
Baba Ndoye, a tourism executive, has meanwhile been appointed Inspector of Administrative and Financial Affairs. He replaces Mohamed Lamine Diop in the position.
New leadership for early childhood
Tabaski Ba has been appointed Director General of the National Agency for Early Childhood and the Case des tout-petits, under the Ministry of National Education. Holding a master’s degree in business administration, marketing and communication, she replaces Yaye Khadidiatou Djamila Diallo.
This series of decisions therefore brings a reshuffle of responsibilities across several public administration bodies.
